ONE DAY YOU WILL TELL YOUR STORY

A brief note.

I posted words, six years ago today on my Facebook page. At the time, I didn’t realize it was a foreshadowing. Unbeknownst to me, I was walking directly into a season of heavy lessons:

Heart failure, that I survived.

Intimate partner violence, that I refused to continue to endure.

A divorce, that I navigated.

Personal financial loss, that I overcame.

And a transition to a caregiver, that I am continually learning to embrace.

What I experienced was a complete overhaul of the life that I once knew as familiar.

Today as I stand, I’m in a new season —

One of joy, restoration, transparency, abundant love, and harvest.

If you’re still in your battle, don’t lose heart. One day, you’ll tell your story too — At the right moment, the right people will hear it, and your victory will sound like their hope.

In purpose and with love,

Marian
